IT Support / IT Administration (w/m/d)
As an IT Specialist in our IT Support & Administration team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the company’s own IT infrastructure, monitoring IT systems and helping to coordinate and integrate IT systems worldwide for our OBE “On Board Electronics” business unit, mainly in Bern, Turgi, Geneva, Prague and Verona. You will support our employees at the various locations in all IT matters.
Your Mission
In this important role, you will be responsible for the following:
- 1st Level- / Client-Support for Office-products, telephone- und peripheral devices
- Resolving incoming support requests from employees worldwide (malfunctions, support requests, assistance, service requests, evaluation and procurement of all kinds of IT material)
- Support of mobile telephony and applications, management of terminals and contracts
- Ensuring user satisfaction through timely completion of support cases
- 2nd Level Support and operation of the server (MS Exchange on premise and online, DC and Azure AD, WSUS, Storage, MDM Intune, MDE, Office 365 Admin)
- Project management / project cooperation in hardware and software projects
- Coordination of the 3rd-Level Support
- Maintaining, expanding and creating documentation
- Operation, maintenance and further development of the internal company networks LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, routing and switching as well as firewalls (Cisco, Zyxel, Sophos), provision of the VPN systems (IPsec site connections and client VPN)
- Perform and control daily data backups, perform recovery operations including disaster recoveryActive.
- Absence and vacation replacement of the Head of IT
Your Profile
As our ideal candidate (m/f/d), you bring:
- „Bachelor of Science“ in Computer Science or equivalent
- MS-Certification for Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, etc
- Knowledge of Networking, Virtualization, Windows 10, MS Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, MS Exchange Online, Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
- ITIL-Certification is another advantage
- Open-minded personality who enjoys contact with employees and partners at home and abroad
- Quick comprehension and analytical thinking
- Willingness to work on off business hours.
- Very good knowledge of English. German and French are an advantage.
